Job Description
- handles all day-to-day accounting responsibilities; enters and examines journal entries; verifies general ledger accounts for accuracy;
- Make consistent and accurate supporting schedules and reconciliations for all general ledgers.
- Perform a timely reconciliation of all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including a review of the ageing analyses and remediation of any issues, and maintenance of the current books.
- Prepare responses to internal and external audit inquiries and assist with audit findings implementation.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts and pursue unsolved issues until they are resolved.
- Prepare and file statutory tax and non-tax returns accurately and on schedule, ensuring that they are filed properly.
- Always properly manage and balance modest amounts of cash. know how to calculate and report payroll.
- Always maintain an updated list of fixed assets.
- Be responsible for closing all general ledger accounts each month and year.
- Provide superior customer service to all clients, both internal and external.
- Perform any additional work that your manager may assign from time to time.
