The Data Content team at RBC Capital Market Technology is looking for a highly skilled analyst to join the team.
The analyst will work as part of a team of Business Analysts and Data Modelers, documenting data requirements, identifying gaps in data requirements, and assisting with dataset registration.
He/she will be expected to collaborate with senior Data Architects, IT System Owners, Business Analysts, Data Stewards, and Data Owners in order to drive the standardization effort across various Lines of Business (LOBs) and functions (Front Office, Operations, Market Risk & Finance, etc.)

Responsibilities for Data Analyst Jobs at Royal Bank of Canada 2023

• Participate in the Intake Forum for Data Fabric and DCM requests, collaborate with Business Analysts from various lines of business and work closely with them.
• Work closely with DCM to support the dataset ingestion, classification, registration, and consumption processes (Data Content and Modeling)
• Support the data consumption strategy by developing queries/views based on consumer needs.
• Perform data discovery and research in the data fabric platform to determine data reuse for new project initiatives.
• Support data registry migrations by providing UAT testing to ensure data content catalogue consistency.

• Bachelor’s or diploma-level education in business, finance, accounting, or engineering
• Experience as a data system analyst, data modeler, or system analyst
