Brief Description:
Fully Funded Scholarships in University of Pretoria 2023: Human Rights and Democratization in Africa (HRDA) LLM/MPhil is a one-year intensive programme in which 25 to 30 exceptional students spend six months in Pretoria and six months at one of 12 partner universities in Africa. They are instructed by renowned human rights lecturers and engage in several training exercises. It is the only course of its kind in Africa. Graduates become members of the HRDA Alumni Association, which has 537 members working in a variety of human rights organisations, from grassroots organisations to international institutions such as the African Union and the United Nations. To pursue a Master’s degree (LLM or MPhil) in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa, applicants from all African nations are welcome at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
