Summary of Position
The graphic designer will create infographics that are lucid, engaging, and interactive, as well as packed with essential PELA II results, activities, and lessons. These images will be used to report on the PELA II activity to USAID/WA and other partners and to share what we know. The graphic designer will collaborate with the communications and CLA teams to create these infographics, which will illustrate the project’s learnings, accomplishments, initiatives, milestones, and significant changes.
Responsibilities for Graphic Designer Jobs at Khulisa:
- Create, design, and format innovative, high-quality, and informative infographics utilizing text and data from the PELA II team.
- When designing layouts and pictures for project-based infographics, use data, text, and narratives to create mockups or wireframes.
- Utilize data, images, and text to create graphics that are novel, engaging, and simple to comprehend.
- Help the Communications and CLA teams review the infographic to make sure it meets the requirements for USAID branding and marking and the PELA II communications guidelines.
- Assist in creating the final media files for many sorts of media, including print and social media.
- Perform additional related duties as specified.
Skills or Experience Needed for Graphic Designer Jobs at Khulisa
- A minimum of three years of experience in graphic design demonstrates demonstrable expertise with infographics, visual storytelling, and data visualization.
- Experience working on USAID or other large donor-funded projects is a bonus.
- must be proficient with Adobe Illustrator.
- It is preferable if you have extensive experience with other Adobe Creative Cloud-related tools.
- It is preferable if you can draw images by hand.
- One of the most important skills is being able to condense and simplify a lot of information in documents.
- You must be able to converse and write fluently in English and French.
