Healthcare Equipment Delivery Driver Jobs in Canada 2023: HME Mobility & Accessibility (.hmebc) is a leading provider of home and institutional medical equipment and assistive products such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and other mobility aids. Via our stairlift division (.hmestairlifts), we are the leading supplier and installer of stairlifts in the Lower Mainland.

We are looking for a supply driver to join our growing team at our site in Richmond. The supply driver makes sure that each HME and our customers’ equipment is set up, delivered, and picked up on time and profitably. This function may also involve warehouse organization, stacking, and maintenance. This is an entry-level position, and HME will train the individual on the equipment.

Duties for Healthcare Equipment Delivery Driver Jobs in Canada

This position will report to the Richmond General Manager and will be liable for:

• Supplying, setting, and installing HME equipment in a client’s home and/or facility using HME processes, if required. This equipment comprises wheelchairs, hospital beds, elevators, and strollers and stands for children. Significant lifting is required.
• In some instances, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds is essential.
• Operating any of HME’s service fleet vehicles in a safe and courteous manner within the GVRD
• Assisting with normal warehouse tasks such as sorting, stacking merchandise, moving equipment, and basic inventory picking
• establishing and inspecting our tools in a manner that ensures their general cleanliness, security, and excellent quality.
• When scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, communicate with customers and their families over the phone.
• Sticking to HME’s security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• always enhancing product and technical information, as well as troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
• Assisting the warehouse supervisor within the warehouse team as necessary

Required Abilities for Healthcare Equipment Delivery Driver Jobs in Canada

• Strong communication abilities in English (both verbal and written).
• Computer skills: must be comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite
• A technical background is advantageous.
