Duties and Responsibilities for Job Opportunity at The Pearl House Academy
- Teacher Training: Have regular meetings with teachers to teach them new ways to teach, how to teach critical thinking skills, how to deal with disruptive students, etc.
- Teacher feedback: do regular classroom observations and devise techniques for teachers to continue improving.
- Putting together the curriculum: work with the GES curriculum to make it easier for teachers to follow, add good books, etc.
- Manage the acquisition of instructional resources for teachers.
- Plan the evaluation of special education requirements and the provision of accommodations. This would likely be part of the second phase of the project, following the installation of all other systems.
