Qualifications and Experience
- must demonstrate greater love or interest for this industry, in addition to a background in it.
- A qualified candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in office management or administration, or another degree in a relevant discipline, as well as at least three years of experience in office management or more in a similar position.
- must have extensive knowledge of office management in the construction industry.
- strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
- You must be able to think critically and creatively.
- They must be aware of the current state of administration in the office.
- must be able to maintain focus and take on multiple tasks.
- Work effectively under pressure, with strict deadlines and high quality standards.

Role and responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- maintaining and overseeing the front desk, as well as assisting company guests.
- assists in the operation of the business by maintaining office systems and keeping a watch on employees.
- maintains office services by arranging office operations and processes, tracking mail, establishing filling systems, approving supply requests, and allocating and monitoring clerical duties.
- provides insight into the past by outlining how records should be stored, secured, retrieved, relocated, and discarded.
- Establish office policies by establishing standards and procedures, comparing results to standards, and making any required adjustments.
- meets operational needs by assigning and scheduling staff and monitoring how activities are completed.
- reading and evaluating special reports, summarising information, and identifying trends to keep management informed.
- maintains office personnel through hiring, selecting, orienting, and training employees under management direction.
- Maintains office staff assignments through coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in addition to planning, supervising, and evaluating their work.
- assists in the preparation of the annual budget by preparing a schedule of costs, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- contributing to the team’s work by performing relevant duties as required.
