• The candidate must either manually select and deliver materials to the work site or use a crane or hoist.
• The candidate must be able to read, interpret, and follow verbal instructions.
• The applicant must clean and lubricate equipment and machinery.
• The candidate will have to look at things to make sure they have the right shapes, sizes, and other qualities.
• The candidate must plan, put together, and run at least one machine that works with light or heavy metal.
• The candidate is required to execute troubleshooting, corrective action, and small repairs.
• It is expected that the candidate will document their work.
• The candidate will be expected to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, and weld metal material into parts or products.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the adequate availability of raw materials.
• The candidate will have to do product inspections to see if finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• The candidate must do routine maintenance on press brakes.
• The candidate will be expected to maintain a clean work environment.
• The candidate will be expected to carry out additional duties as assigned.
• The candidate will be expected to set up and run sheet metal equipment with little supervision so that goods can be made and shaped according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• The candidate must perform material loading and unloading by changing tools and selecting the appropriate machine programmes.
• Before carrying out activities, the candidate must guarantee that all safety concerns are resolved.
• To minimise scrap, the candidate must choose the optimal sheet size for the items to be produced.
• The candidate will have to sharpen tools as needed to make sure that the machine works well.
• The candidate will be expected to set up a brake press according to the job description and work instructions.

• The ideal candidate should have at least three to five years of relevant work experience.
• The applicant must possess both overhead crane certification and forklift certification.

Metal Forming or Shaping Operations Experience

• The ideal candidate will have a history of straightening, punching, shaping, flattening, drawing, and bending.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

• The applicant must know how to use shears, saws, punch presses, overhead cranes, lifting devices, hand tools, drills, and brakes. 

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in the metal product fabrication business.

Own Tools/Equipment

• Applicants must wear safety boots with a steel toe.

Work Site Environment

• The place of work is noisy, and the candidate must be able to stay focused in spite of the noise.

Transportation and travel details

• The candidate should use their own vehicle for travel.
