Job Description
Security Expert Job at Unicef 2023: Under the direct direction of the Chief Field Office (CFO), the Security Specialist is responsible for advising the Country Representative and CFO on their security duties and responsibilities in accordance with the United Nations and UNICEF Security Management Systems. The security specialist will assist UNICEF in performing its duties by identifying security threats, providing sound recommendations, and devising effective countermeasures. On behalf of the country representative or CFO, the security expert will oversee and assist with all security-related activities in the country or region.

Needed Qualifications and Experience

- Master’s or higher from an accredited college or university in
- A graduate degree can be replaced by a bachelor’s degree from a university in a related field and two years of work experience on top of that.
- At least five (5) years’ expertise in national security risk management and/or security analysis are required.
- It would be great if you had experience with international security management and knew about the UN Security Management System.
- You must be fluent in English. Knowing another official UN language, such as French or a local tongue, is advantageous.
- The location is Tamale.
