2024-2025 US Rotary Foundation Peace Fellowships: With academic training, practical experience, and chances for worldwide networking, the Rotary Peace Centers program enables peace and development professionals to become effective peace catalysts. The fellowships cover tuition and fees, lodging and board, round-trip transportation, as well as internship and field study costs.
Since 2002, when the program started, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,600 fellows who are now working in more than 140 countries. Many have leadership positions in governments, non-governmental organizations, educational and scientific institutions, peacekeeping and law enforcement agencies, and international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank.
Our fellowships
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is intended for peace and development-experienced leaders. Our fellows are dedicated to community and global service and the quest for peace. The Rotary Foundation provides up to 50 fellowships annually for master’s degrees and up to 40 fellowships annually for certificate courses at leading universities.

Master’s degree programs
Candidates who are accepted study peace and development issues with a diverse group of students and lessons that are based on research. The programmes run between 15 and 24 months and include a self-designed, two- to three-month field study.
Professional development certificate program
During the one-year blended learning programme, seasoned peace and development professionals from a variety of backgrounds acquire the skills necessary to promote peace in their communities and throughout the world. Fellows conduct field research and develop and implement a social change initiative. This curriculum is designed for professionals in the workforce. Fellows receive a postgraduate diploma upon programme completion.
Application timeline
We are currently accepting applications for the Rotary Peace Fellowship for the school year 2024–25. The deadline for submitting applications to the foundation is May 15th. Endorsers from Rotary must submit their endorsements to the Foundation by July 1. Obtain procedures for endorsement at rotary.org/endorsepeacefellows.
